  • Compare the physical layouts of lifting, tire-service, alignment and body-repair equipment before choosing models.
  • Review machines alongside the tools, accessories and utility requirements that support the intended jobs.
  • Build an equipment list around your vehicle mix, workshop space and budget, rather than buying by appearance alone.
  • Send your shortlist before visiting so our team can confirm the display units and any demonstration arrangements.

A showroom built around real workshop equipment

Our automotive workshop equipment showroom in Guangzhou brings together the machines and tools used across a repair business: car lifts, scissor car lifts, wheel alignment machines, tire changers, wheel balancers, tool boxes, automotive AC machines, spray booths and auto collision frame machines. For a buyer planning a new garage or expanding an existing shop, seeing these categories together makes the equipment discussion more concrete.

The photographs in this article are real showroom images supplied by BAOHUA. They show equipment arranged along open aisles, with wheel-service machines, lifting platforms, tool cabinets and body-repair equipment occupying the same space. A nearby office and meeting area provides somewhere to turn a shortlist into an itemized equipment discussion.

Car lifts: start with your vehicles and repair work

A car lift should give technicians the access needed for the jobs the shop plans to perform. In the showroom, lift structures and nearby service equipment help buyers discuss column positions, arm movement, underbody access and the space around the vehicle. Those practical details matter alongside rated lifting capacity.

For a general repair shop doing maintenance, parts replacement and underbody work, BAOHUA usually prioritizes a suitable two-post lift. A 4.2-tonne option can suit a budget-led inquiry; with more budget and plans to service heavier SUVs or expand into electric-vehicle work, we prioritize consideration of a 5-tonne configuration. The final choice still follows actual vehicle weight, load distribution, lifting points, arm reach and the installation requirements.

Bring the vehicles you work on into the discussion: make and model, service weight, wheelbase and the jobs that require the most access. The showroom conversation is most useful when it leads to a model-specific drawing and configuration.

Scissor car lifts: compare access, platforms and installation

Scissor car lifts offer a different bay layout from a two-post lift. The long runways visible in the main showroom photograph give a clear starting point for discussing vehicle entry, platform spacing and access around an alignment workstation. Short-platform service lifts and alignment runway lifts serve different jobs, so they should be compared separately.

For low-clearance passenger-car inquiries, BAOHUA recommends considering the 6016 thin scissor configuration. For a dedicated alignment bay, we prioritize a suitable scissor lift where budget allows, while checking camera sightlines and target visibility. A four-post alignment lift remains an alternative when the budget and site suit it.

The installation decision also matters. Where excavation is permitted and a flush working area is important, discuss a model approved for recessed installation. Where digging is restricted or future relocation is likely, consider an approved surface-mounted thin model. Confirm the actual foundation and access arrangements for the selected lift.

Wheel alignment machines: review the complete bay

A wheel alignment machine works as part of a bay, not as an isolated cabinet. The camera position, wheel targets or sensors, lift, turnplates and space for the operator all need to work together. The showroom places alignment equipment near the lifts and wheel-service machines, making those relationships easier to discuss.

For passenger-car and SUV workshops, BAOHUA prioritizes a suitable 3D alignment system. A 3D system still uses passive wheel-mounted targets and clamps; it should not be described as needing no equipment on the wheels. Discuss the compensation process, target handling, software and support as well as the hardware.

For the ML-3D-T1, our normal bay-planning reference is 7,000 × 4,000 mm in length and width. Treat that as a planning reference and confirm the actual vehicle, lift and camera layout. Send the country, make, model and year of the vehicles that matter to your shop so the relevant software data can be checked. Data for modified or uncommon vehicles can be added separately using the correct reference values.

Tire changers: compare the working method and helper arms

The useful tire changer comparison is about how the machine handles the wheels your business receives. Look at the clamping arrangement, mounting head, helper arms, controls and clearance for the complete wheel. A rim-diameter label on its own does not establish whether a machine suits a particular tire.

For a regular workshop, BAOHUA prioritizes the BH-526PRO with helper arms, especially when the work includes SUV tires, low-profile tires or run-flat tires. The V9120 leverless model is another option for higher-end operations, and a shop may choose both configurations for different jobs. If the choice is limited to one of these two machines, our first recommendation is BH-526PRO.

During a visit, use your actual wheel sizes and tire types to discuss the operating process. Ask which protective parts and accessories are supplied, and which are optional. That produces a more useful comparison than assuming a leverless name guarantees compatibility or damage-free operation.

Wheel balancers: look beyond the cabinet and display

A wheel balancer needs the right mounting accessories and workflow for the intended wheels. The showroom photograph clearly shows CB250P and CB650P machines alongside other tire-service equipment. Comparing the spindle area, measuring arrangement, controls and surrounding working space helps a buyer ask better questions about the final configuration.

For passenger-car balancing, discuss supported wheel dimensions and weight, parameter entry, mounting cones and the positioning aids required by the operator. Truck-wheel balancing is a separate selection: equipment such as BH1200 and its loading lift should be matched to the actual heavy-wheel assembly.

Buying a tire changer and wheel balancer together also creates a chance to review wheel movement between the two machines. Leave space for handling wheels and storing accessories instead of planning only the cabinet footprints.

Tool boxes and rolling cabinets: organize the work around the machines

Tool storage is part of the workstation. The showroom includes rolling cabinets, tool display boards and workshop accessories, so buyers can compare storage with the tasks and working space around larger equipment. Drawer access, mobility, the supplied tool list and the place where a cabinet will be used all deserve attention.

BAOHUA offers existing 258-piece and 386-piece tool configurations, both with a seven-drawer tool trolley. For an ordinary new workshop, we usually prioritize the 386-piece set for its broader piece count. The 258-piece option is positioned at a higher tool-quality and price level. Compare the actual contents rather than treating the number of pieces as the only measure of value.

An empty trolley can also be purchased separately where the customer already owns tools. The offered loaded sets use the existing configurations; the equipment proposal should identify the selected set and cabinet clearly.

Automotive AC machines: match the refrigerant and service process

An automotive AC machine inquiry should begin with the refrigerant systems the shop services. Compare the required recovery, vacuum and charging functions, the refrigerant configuration, supplied connections and the operating procedure. The right discussion is about the actual vehicles and service process, not simply choosing a cabinet that looks familiar.

Our equipment range includes AC-service machines such as AC49, AC70 and AC80. Use the individual product information to compare their configurations, and send your refrigerant requirements before arranging a visit. This lets our team identify the relevant options and confirm which display unit can be reviewed.

For electric and hybrid vehicles, include the applicable AC-service requirements in the vehicle brief. Refrigerant and oil handling must follow the vehicle and machine instructions; a broad equipment category is not proof that every configuration suits every system.

Spray booths: examine the enclosure and supporting equipment

A spray booth purchase includes more than the vehicle chamber. The showroom photographs show a booth enclosure with air-handling equipment and ductwork, as well as nearby tool storage and body-repair equipment. Seeing those parts together helps buyers discuss working space, installation and the relationship between preparation, painting and drying.

Start with the largest vehicle, the required access around it and the entry opening. Then review the heating arrangement, fans, filtration, lighting, controls, utilities and the external space needed by the installation. Internal chamber dimensions and the complete installed footprint are separate measurements.

The 700S European-style booth is one catalogue example to review. For bus projects, internal length, width and height can be configured to the agreed project drawing. The supplied showroom photograph illustrates the display area; it does not identify every pictured component as the configuration of the linked 700S model.

Auto collision frame machines: inspect the complete repair workstation

An auto collision frame machine, also called a frame straightening bench, should be selected for the vehicles and repair procedures the shop handles. The showroom photograph shows a repair platform, loading ramps, clamping equipment and tools in the surrounding aisle. Those physical details are important when planning loading access and technician movement.

Compare vehicle support capacity separately from pulling force. Review the anchoring system, pulling towers and accessories, access for measurement, and the space needed around the bench. Structural repair work also needs a suitable measuring method and material-appropriate joining equipment.

BAOHUA can discuss frame-bench, electronic measuring, welding, extraction and paint-curing equipment as connected parts of a body-shop purchase. The photographed bench is a showroom display; use the selected model’s own specifications and supplied accessories for the quotation.

Turn the showroom visit into an equipment list

The value of seeing several equipment categories together is the ability to build a coordinated purchase. A general repair and tire-service shop might start with lifting, diagnostics, compressed air, oil collection, hand tools, a jack, a tire changer and a wheel balancer. An alignment or body-repair specialist will need a different balance of equipment.

Send your service list, target vehicles, workshop measurements and budget before the discussion. BAOHUA provides an equipment list and placement suggestions. The proposal should identify models, quantities, brands, standard accessories and options, along with the utilities and installation information needed for the selected machines.

For an export order, our foreign-trade team can assist with product information, quality checks, export documents and installation or maintenance questions. Agreed equipment can be coordinated for consolidated shipment. Final availability, packing, delivery terms and support responsibilities belong in the order.

  • Vehicle types, maximum service weights and the wheel sizes you handle.
  • Workshop length, width, clear height, access and any restrictions on excavation.
  • Local power supply, compressed air, water, drainage and ventilation where relevant.
  • Priority services, quantities, budget, destination and intended purchase schedule.
