AC70 vs AC80 vs AC49: Choosing an A/C Service Machine
Compare BAOHUA AC70, AC80 and AC49 by refrigerant, service functions and workshop needs. Prepare a model-specific quotation checklist.

Choose by refrigerant first
Shortlist AC70 for compatible R134a systems, AC80 for compatible R1234yf systems, and AC49 when the workshop needs a dual-refrigerant machine for both. Confirm the vehicle refrigerant label and service requirements before considering tank size, screen or printer features. Dual-refrigerant capability does not mean the refrigerants can be mixed.
AC70: R134a service and documented flushing
AC70 combines recovery, vacuum, A/C circuit flushing and charging for compatible R134a systems. Its published configuration includes an 18 kg working tank, a 10-inch touchscreen, a printer and PAG/POE oil management. Small-can and internal-vessel charging are documented. A working-tank heating belt is optional.
AC80: dedicated R1234yf service
AC80 provides recovery, vacuum and charging for R1234yf systems, with an 18 kg working tank, a 10-inch touchscreen, digital pressure readings and a built-in printer. Its published configuration includes PAG/POE oil management and two ventilation fans. Do not transfer the AC70 flushing claim to AC80 without model-specific confirmation.
AC49: one dual-refrigerant configuration
AC49 supports R134a and R1234yf with separate 12 kg tanks, five electronic scales and a 10-inch touchscreen. Its published functions include recovery, vacuum, charging and leak check, with a built-in printer. Internal cleaning is documented to help prevent mixing when changing service configurations; the operating procedure still matters.
Match the vehicle fleet and compressor oil
Petrol, hybrid or electric propulsion alone does not determine the correct refrigerant or oil. Check the actual vehicle specification, compressor oil grade, service connection and required procedure. PAG/POE handling is not evidence that every vehicle or compressor is compatible.
A refrigerant database is a service aid. Confirm coverage for the intended model years and regional fleet, as well as the delivered software language and update arrangements.
What to include in your A/C equipment enquiry
Send the following information to obtain a quotation for the appropriate configuration. Product capacities and included features in this guide come from the linked BAOHUA product records; confirm the final order scope in the quotation.
- Refrigerants and vehicle models serviced
- Expected workload and need for separate or dual-refrigerant equipment
- Required functions, including any flushing requirement
- Site voltage, frequency and connection requirements
- Required adapters, oil handling, printer and optional accessories
- Quantity, destination and delivery point
Frequently asked questions
Which model is for R134a?
AC70 is the dedicated R134a option in this comparison; AC49 also supports R134a as part of its dual-refrigerant configuration.
Does AC80 have all the same functions as AC70?
Do not assume that. This guide lists documented AC80 recovery, vacuum and charging; AC70 also has a documented flushing function. Confirm additional functions against the exact model.
Is AC49 suitable for every hybrid or EV?
No universal compatibility is claimed. Confirm refrigerant, compressor oil, connections and the vehicle service procedure.
This guide supports early equipment planning. Final dimensions, specifications, installation instructions, supply scope, and applicable documents must be confirmed for the exact model and site before ordering.
