Compare workshop space in three dimensions
Measure the available bay length, width and height, then record doors, columns and other obstructions. Include vehicle approach, technician movement and space for the power unit and equipment used around the bay. The lift footprint alone is not the required workshop area.
Ask for the maximum operating envelope with the intended vehicle, not only the lowered machine dimensions. A low ceiling can restrict a raised vehicle even where the empty lift fits. If a recessed installation is proposed, obtain the actual installation drawing before planning any civil works.
