Collision Repair Bench and Electronic Measuring System: How to Specify Them Together
Compare BH5621 and BH-2200 benches with BH-200 body measurement. Check anchoring, probe access, bay space, software and accessories before ordering.

At a glance: specify the repair workflow, not a generic bundle
A frame bench holds and pulls a vehicle; an electronic measuring system checks selected body or chassis reference points. They answer different parts of the repair job. Buying both does not itself establish that the measuring probes, vehicle database, anchoring equipment and bench layout work together for a particular vehicle.
Define the vehicle and repair process first. Then ask for a drawing and a written, itemized configuration showing how the chosen bench provides probe access before, during and after a pull.
- Check vehicle mass, length, width and approved anchoring points against the exact bench and repair procedure.
- Identify reference points that must remain accessible with the vehicle clamped.
- Confirm measuring probes, adapters, software data, calibration and reporting as separate line items.
- Confirm floor, loading path, tower travel and air or hydraulic connections from model-specific documents.
Start with the vehicle, anchoring and measurement task
Send the supplier representative vehicle models, body styles, damage and repair tasks, service weight and the reference points required by the applicable repair information. A platform rating is about supported vehicle load; pulling force is a separate limit. Neither number tells you whether a particular clamp will engage a specified sill or structural point.
Mark on a bay plan where the vehicle approaches, where the bench is fixed, how towers travel and where a technician can reach the reference points. Include the intended measurement sequence: initial damage assessment, checks while correction proceeds and final documented checks. If the probe cannot reach a point with the vehicle properly secured, a measurement specification on paper will not solve the workflow problem.
What the two bench options and BH-200 actually specify
BH5621 is a tilting body frame bench with a 5,600 × 2,100 mm platform, 520 mm platform height and listed 3,500 kg maximum vehicle load. Its supplied brochure lists a main and auxiliary pulling tower, four anchoring clamps, a 100 kN maximum pulling-force rating and 0.8 MPa required air pressure. Confirm how those supplied clamps and pulling attachments suit your vehicles; the brochure does not establish that an electronic measuring system is included.
BH-2200 is a separate collision repair bench with a listed 5,600 × 2,200 × 540 mm workbench and 360° pulling range. Its product record lists 100 psi air supply and 70 MPa maximum hydraulic pressure. These figures describe different circuits and must not be interchanged. Its published information does not confirm a BH-200 mounting kit or an included measuring package.
BH-200 is a separate electronic body and chassis measuring system. Its listed ruler length range is 100–2,200 mm and height range 20–450 mm. The product information describes Bluetooth transfer, software-guided reference-point selection, measured-versus-reference deviation, and saved or printed before-and-after reports. Supplier-rated ruler accuracy is not a guarantee of the completed vehicle inspection. Confirm actual vehicle data coverage, probe arrangement, calibration and software package for the ordered configuration.
How to test the bench-and-measuring fit before ordering
Ask for a point-access review using one representative repair. Show the vehicle anchoring positions, desired measurement points, planned pull directions and the space occupied by each tower, chain and hose. The supplier should state whether each point can be reached with the intended probes and adapters while the vehicle remains safely secured. The answer may depend on a specific vehicle, clamp and attachment, so do not assume universal compatibility from a generic “frame bench” label.
Request the exact BH-200 ruler and probe inventory, current software and vehicle-data coverage, computer/printer supply, calibration procedure and report format. Confirm whether an adapter is needed for the selected bench. Ask for an installation drawing and commissioning method for the final combination. Treat the measuring unit and bench as two separately specified products until the quotation explicitly includes and connects them.
Plan the bay and utilities around the full operating envelope
The platform dimensions exclude the approach route, ramps, tower positions, technician access, hose routing and measuring work area. Provide a scaled floor plan and floor/support information for the supplier and installer to review. Do not treat either collision bench as a general-purpose vehicle lift.
For BH5621, the brochure distinguishes 0.8 MPa air supply from 70 MPa maximum hydraulic working pressure. BH-2200 has its own 100 psi air-supply entry and 70 MPa hydraulic-pressure entry. Ask for the selected pump, connectors and operating documents. Electrical and computer needs for BH-200 should be confirmed with the actual software and supplied hardware list; no bench rating settles those requirements.
Before you request a quote: send these six items
A useful offer itemizes the bench, vehicle anchoring and pulling accessories, measuring ruler and probes, adapters, software/data access, computer and printer, calibration and installation documents. BAOHUA can coordinate an agreed workshop equipment-and-tool package and consolidated shipment after configurations, packing and readiness are confirmed. This does not establish that every accessory is standard or that the machines are pre-integrated.
- Representative vehicles, service weights, body styles and repair information specifying reference points.
- Repair tasks, pull directions, anchoring locations and desired before/during/after measurement reports.
- Scaled bay drawing, floor/support data, loading route and tower clearances.
- Available air, electrical supply and computer/software requirements.
- Itemized standard and optional clamps, probes, adapters, pumps and hoses.
- Destination, packing requirements, installation responsibilities and commissioning scope.
Which buyer benefits from this combined specification?
A collision shop that must document body geometry before and after structural work should evaluate the bench and measuring package together, but approve each component against a real vehicle and repair method. A buyer who only needs a bench should not pay for an assumed measuring system; a buyer who already owns one should verify probe access and data workflow before changing the bench.
Frequently asked questions
Is BH-200 included with BH5621 or BH-2200?
The available product records describe BH-200 as a separate measuring system. Ask the quotation to state explicitly whether it is included, with its probes, software and computer package.
Does a 3,500 kg bench rating specify pulling force?
No. BH5621 lists a 3,500 kg maximum vehicle load and a separate 100 kN maximum pulling-force rating. Check both against the intended repair procedure and attachments.
Can BH-200 measure every car on either bench?
That is not established. Confirm vehicle reference-data coverage, probe reach and access, adapters and calibration for the actual vehicle and anchored setup.
Can a collision repair bench replace a general service lift?
Neither product record establishes general-purpose lift use. Follow the model-specific installation and operating instructions for collision repair.
What records should the measuring package provide?
The BH-200 information describes saving results and printing before-and-after reports through the configured software. Confirm the supplied software, vehicle data, computer/printer and report format in the offer.
This guide supports early equipment planning. Final dimensions, specifications, installation instructions, supply scope, and applicable documents must be confirmed for the exact model and site before ordering.
