BAOHUA SPIN-7 single-arm touchless car wash with a passenger car in the bay

Build the purchase list around the services you will sell

For a new car-wash and detailing shop, split the work into exterior washing, drying, interior cleaning and any underbody service. An automatic wash, a steam cleaner and a wet/dry vacuum serve different tasks. Decide which jobs require a dedicated bay and which tools can be shared before setting quantities.

For exterior work, compare a compatible pressure/steam unit or an automatic wash system. For interior work, specify vacuuming, foam application and any separate extraction requirement. Add chemical handling, hoses, storage, water treatment where required, and the installation connections for the selected machines. A dry-foam applicator is not automatically a recovery vacuum.

Touchless or brush-contact washing?

The SPIN-7 uses water and chemicals without a rotating brush contacting the vehicle body. The BH-5VF+ and BH-9SF are brush-contact systems. Select by the intended wash process, vehicle exterior fittings, soil conditions, chemistry and operating procedure rather than a promise that one format always cleans better or never affects a finish.

Ask for a demonstration using representative vehicles and the proposed program. Compare cleaning stages, chemical dosing, drying, maintenance, utility consumption and the permitted vehicle envelope. Roof accessories, mirrors, antennas and unusual body shapes need an equipment-specific check in either format.

Rollover versus conveyor tunnel: which part moves?

In the BH-5VF+ rollover arrangement, the gantry travels on floor rails around a stationary vehicle. In the BH-9SF tunnel arrangement, the conveyor moves compatible vehicles through the washing process. These different vehicle paths affect entry control, queueing, exit space and how the operating team handles the site.

The BH-5VF+ lists an 11,000 × 3,700 × 3,200 mm installation envelope and a 6,000 × 2,200 × 2,000 mm maximum washing envelope. BH-9SF lists a 12,500 × 4,500 × 3,500 mm installation envelope, with 2,300 mm vehicle width and 2,100 mm height limits. Its maximum vehicle length needs project confirmation. Allow additional approach, exit and service space; do not compare only the equipment footprint.

Plan a touchless bay from the installation drawing

SPIN-7 lists equipment dimensions of 6,200 × 3,600 × 3,000 mm, installation dimensions of 7,000 × 3,700 × 3,100 mm and a maximum washing envelope of 5,500 × 2,200 × 2,000 mm. These are separate length × width × height figures. The installation dimensions alone do not include every possible queue, turning route or service requirement.

Place the machine, vehicle position, entry and exit, utility points and maintenance access on the measured site drawing. Check external fittings on the tallest and widest vehicles. Use the final ordered configuration for civil work.

What water, electricity and drainage information is needed?

Send the available water source, supply pressure and flow, water quality information, electrical voltage/phase/frequency and capacity, and the proposed wastewater route. Ask for the required inlet pressure and flow, connection sizes, drainage layout, water-treatment options, chemical requirements and any compressed-air requirement for the exact configuration.

SPIN-7 has a confirmed 15 kW pump motor and 16 kW drying system, plus an 8 bar compressed-air requirement. Confirm the total electrical load against the ordered machine nameplate; the component ratings are not a total-power specification. Its listed 150 L per car is a consumption figure, not a specification for instantaneous inlet flow or a complete drain design. Confirm the load schedule and supply interfaces separately. Recycling and wastewater equipment must be identified explicitly in the project scope.

SPIN-7 capacity: plan around 4–8 vehicles per hour

BAOHUA gives a planning throughput of 4–8 vehicles per hour for SPIN-7, including vehicle entry, washing, drying and exit. This is a supplier planning reference, not an independently measured guarantee for every program, vehicle condition or site.

Compare the busiest arrival period with the full site cycle and available staff. Daily capacity depends on actual operating hours, downtime and demand distribution; do not infer a fixed daily total or calculate hourly output only by dividing 60 by a wash-program timer.

SPIN-7 equipment with drying: price reference

BAOHUA gives a SPIN-7 equipment price reference of CNY 82,000–98,000 per set with drying, recorded on October 27, 2026. At an illustrative fixed conversion of CNY 6.67 per USD, that is approximately USD 12,300–14,700 per set. The conversion is not a current exchange-rate quotation.

The final price depends on the ordered configuration and sales quotation. This equipment reference is not a complete installed-project price. Confirm the dryer, pumps, controls, accessories and optional systems, and itemize freight, unloading, installation, site works, utilities, water treatment and other project costs separately.

Electric steam or a cold/hot-water and steam machine?

F7 is a dedicated electric steam-cleaning option with a listed 6–12 kW rating, 15 L tank and 220 V, 50 Hz supply. H3 offers cold-water, hot-water and steam modes. Choose from the cleaning process and the material being treated, then compare the required water and electrical connections.

H3 lists 120 bar and 7 L/min for cold/hot-water cleaning, plus a separate steam-mode specification. Its 20 kW heating rating and 1,800 W motor rating describe different loads. Confirm the complete nameplate, phase and circuit requirements. Maximum temperature or pressure is not a recommended setting for every trim, coating or fabric.

F7 for commercial interior and detail-cleaning inquiries

BAOHUA recommends F7 as a steam-cleaning option for commercial interior-cleaning inquiries involving seats, carpets and detail work, subject to surface compatibility and the supplied tools. Steam can also be considered for engine-surface oil cleaning using the appropriate vehicle and equipment procedure; this is not internal engine flushing.

Confirm the material, electrical components, attachments, moisture limits and cleaning method before work. Steam application, foam application and liquid recovery are different functions. Do not infer upholstery extraction or disinfection efficacy from the product name; quote separate recovery equipment when required.

Frequently asked questions

What equipment is needed for a car-wash and detailing shop?

Plan exterior washing, drying, interior cleaning and any underbody work separately. Select the wash system, vacuum, foam or steam equipment and supporting utilities for the services actually offered. Identify separate recovery or water-treatment equipment where required.

Is a rollover car wash the same as a tunnel car wash?

No. In the BH-5VF+ rollover arrangement the gantry moves around a stationary vehicle; the BH-9SF tunnel uses a conveyor process. Compare the full vehicle path, operating workflow and final site layout.

Can I calculate hourly capacity from the wash timer?

Use the full operating cycle. BAOHUA gives SPIN-7 a planning reference of 4–8 vehicles per hour including entry, washing, drying and exit. Actual throughput depends on the program, vehicles and site workflow.

Does a steam cleaner also recover liquid from upholstery?

Do not assume it. Steam application and liquid recovery are different functions. Confirm the approved interior process, attachments and separate recovery equipment needed for the job.

How much is SPIN-7 with drying?

The equipment reference is CNY 82,000–98,000 per set, subject to the configuration and final sales quotation. Confirm freight, installation, civil works and other site costs separately.
