Separate useful automation from unconfirmed features
Ask which steps the operator performs and which the machine measures automatically. Request a normal work-cycle demonstration covering mounting, data entry, measurement, weight placement and the final check. This is more informative than treating the word automatic as a complete specification.
Ask about setup, calibration checks, operator training and access to replacement adapters or wear parts. These are questions to settle in the purchase scope, not promises that every supplier or model provides the same support. Keep balancing separate from wheel alignment: do not assume that purchasing a balancer also supplies an alignment system.
Build a comparable quotation request
Give each supplier the same wheel inventory, expected workload and available bay measurements. Include quantity and destination, then request a model-specific response identifying working ranges, utility requirements, supplied accessories and required extras.
