BAOHUA ATF9800 automatic transmission fluid exchanger with standard printer

Start with the transmission and connection, then compare the machine

An automatic transmission fluid exchanger should be selected for the transmissions a workshop actually services. A touchscreen, vehicle database or large adapter case does not establish that the same connection and operating sequence will work on every vehicle. Identify the transmission, required oil and connection method before comparing quotation prices.

The BAOHUA ATF9800 provides fluid exchange, filling, used-fluid recovery and circulating cleaning functions. Its supplied manual describes automatic fluid-flow direction recognition and electronic control of equivalent exchange. These functions help define the machine, while the transmission-specific procedure determines how it should be used.

What is included in the standard adapter package?

BAOHUA confirms that the black-case hose and connector kit shown here is standard with ATF9800. The supplied standard connector PDF lists connector illustrations, dimensions, model references and quantities. Use this list to compare the actual vehicle connection before placing an order.

The supplier literature describes broad European, American and Asian applications. Treat that as a starting point for a fit check rather than a guarantee for every model year or transmission variant. A vehicle name in a connector table is not enough to establish the connection on an individual car.

For an accurate enquiry, send the make, model, year, engine and transmission identification, together with clear photographs of the intended service connections. Ask the supplier to identify the matching standard connector or explain what additional adapter is required.

When should you request the optional expanded kit?

The larger assortment with yellow inserts is an optional expanded adapter kit. It is separate from the standard black-case set and should be identified separately in the quotation and packing list. Do not assume that the larger kit is included because it appears in sales material.

Choose additional adapters around an identified service requirement. Provide the target transmission connection and ask which optional piece is needed. The size of an assortment alone does not show that every connector in it will be useful to your workshop or that every intended vehicle is covered.

How are the exchange quantity and cleaning time controlled?

The supplied manual describes entering the required exchange quantity before starting the exchange. Its intelligent-exchange selection also allows cleaning time and exchange quantity to be set. The running interface displays status and provides a pause function.

The selected quantity must not exceed the new fluid available in the machine. The manual also tells the operator not to add new oil to the tank during an exchange. Confirm the required vehicle service quantity and prepare the appropriate fluid supply before beginning.

Electronic control of equivalent exchange is a machine function, not permission to use one volume or one sequence on every transmission. Keep the machine stable, follow the documented connection checks and use the full instructions for the selected operating mode.

Why does the CVT procedure need separate attention?

The ATF9800 manual contains a separate CVT section and explicitly distinguishes it from the preceding exchange instructions. It describes alternating recovery and filling, with the engine stopped for the filling stage. It should not be summarized as a continuous engine-running exchange for every transmission.

For a buyer, the important check is whether the workshop has the correct connection, oil specification and approved procedure for the particular CVT. Review the complete CVT section with the vehicle service instructions rather than transferring the conventional automatic-transmission sequence to it.

The same vehicle-specific check is necessary when enquiring about dual-clutch transmissions. Identify the exact transmission and required circuit; do not infer a complete DCT operating procedure from the general ATF exchange menu or a CVT section.

Choose oil by the transmission specification

The manual requires the transmission fluid to meet the requirements for the vehicle being serviced. Do not select oil from the equipment model name or assume that conventional ATF, CVT fluid and DCT fluid are interchangeable.

Also distinguish ordinary fluid exchange from a selected circulation-cleaning function. Follow the fluid and preparation instructions for that function. An equipment enquiry should identify the intended service and required fluid rather than treating the word cleaning as a universal chemical recommendation.

When changing the fluid product used in the machine, review the manual's preparation and hose-cleaning instructions. Keeping unsuitable residual oil out of the next service is part of matching the machine to the transmission.

Check the workshop utilities and supplied configuration

The published BAOHUA ATF9800 configuration has a 7-inch LCD touchscreen and a printer supplied as standard. The documented supply is DC 12 V with maximum power of 150 W. Separate new- and used-fluid tanks are each 20 L.

The listed supply and return hoses are each 2.5 m, and the drain hose is 1.5 m. Check reach, battery access and room to position the cabinet. Tank capacity describes machine storage, not a universal vehicle oil capacity.

Ask for confirmed machine dimensions and shipping measurements for the ordered configuration. Keep packing dimensions and operating footprint separate when planning access, service-bay space and freight.

What should you send with an ATF9800 enquiry?

Send your target vehicles and transmission identifications, connection photographs, fluid requirements and the services you plan to offer. State whether you want the standard adapter kit alone or need a specific expanded kit. Include quantity, destination and the required scope of supply.

The product page provides the operation manual, original operation video and standard connector configuration list. Review all three: the video shows the equipment in use, the manual distinguishes operating modes and the connector list supports the connection check.

Frequently asked questions

Is the yellow-insert adapter kit standard with ATF9800?

No. BAOHUA confirms the black-case hose and connector kit is standard. The expanded yellow-insert assortment is optional and should be quoted separately.

Can the required exchange quantity be set before operation?

Yes. The manual describes setting the exchange quantity, and intelligent exchange also includes a cleaning-time setting. Match the quantity and sequence to the transmission and available new fluid.

Does CVT service use the same sequence as every other automatic transmission?

No. The supplied manual includes a separate CVT procedure using alternating recovery and filling, with the engine stopped during filling. Review the complete instructions and vehicle requirements for the particular transmission.

Does a vehicle database guarantee adapter fit?

No. Check the exact transmission, physical connection, required oil and operating procedure. Use the supplied connector list and connection photographs to confirm adapter fit.
