Installation requirements

Confirm AC 220 V ±10% at 50 Hz ±1 Hz, a suitable instrument support, sampling access and workshop ventilation. Allow the listed 10-minute warm-up at ≥20°C. Follow the supplied operating manual for sampling, leak checks, calibration, filters and condensate handling. Confirm power inverter and accessory configuration if vehicle-based power is needed.

Product overview

Five-gas analysis for gasoline-engine maintenance

The NHA-506EN Automotive Emission Analyzer measures HC, CO, CO₂, O₂ and NO in vehicle exhaust. It uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) analysis for HC, CO and CO₂, with electrochemical sensing for O₂ and NO. The brochure lists use with gasoline, CNG, LPG and ethanol-gasoline engine fuels. Confirm the vehicle and fuel configuration when requesting a quotation.

Read gas concentrations and mixture information

The LCD displays measurement information, with automatic calculation and display of the air–fuel ratio (A/F) and lambda air ratio. The five channels have different measurement ranges: HC 0–9,999 ppm (n-Hexane), CO 0–10%, CO₂ 0–18%, O₂ 0–25% and NO 0–5,000 ppm. Follow the operating and calibration instructions when interpreting readings.

Portable instrument with measurement records

The confirmed configuration weighs 6 kg and measures 260 mm wide × 180 mm high × 450 mm deep. It provides an RS-232C digital interface and storage and review of 200 measurement groups. Confirm software compatibility and the required data format before connecting it to an existing inspection system.

Electrical supply and preparation

The specified mains supply is AC 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz ±1 Hz. The listed warm-up time is 10 minutes when ambient temperature is at least 20°C. A DC 12 V vehicle power inverter is an accessory option; the instrument must not be treated as a direct DC 12 V input device.

Accessories and quotation scope

The brochure describes RPM measurement using an inductive pickup and oil-temperature measurement using a probe. Confirm which sensors and leads are included in the quoted package. A micro printer, alternative RPM adaptors and a DC 12 V vehicle power inverter are listed as options/accessories. Request the sampling probe, hose, filters, calibration instructions and consumable list for the offered configuration.

One-stop equipment supply for a new workshop

Send BAOHUA your complete workshop equipment and tool list together with your exhaust-analysis requirements. We can help coordinate equipment selection and consolidated shipping. Confirm the final package, packing data, destination and shipment arrangements in the quotation.

Common purchasing questions

**Does this model measure NO or NO₂?** The confirmed NHA-506EN brochure and operating manual specify NO. NO₂ measurement is not claimed for this configuration.

**Is the printer included?** The micro printer is listed as an option/accessory. Confirm it in the quotation rather than assuming it is included.

**Can it run from a vehicle battery?** The brochure lists a DC 12 V vehicle power inverter as an accessory option. The main instrument supply is AC 220 V; confirm the inverter and cable package before ordering.

MODEL SELECTION

How to choose this equipment

Selection guidance

Do I need all five gas channels?
Choose this configuration when HC, CO, CO₂, O₂ and NO readings are required. Identify the fuel type and required measurement ranges before ordering.
What should I confirm for workshop power?
Provide AC 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz ±1 Hz. If using vehicle power, confirm the optional DC 12 V inverter; direct DC input is not specified.
Do I need RPM, oil temperature or printed records?
List the required pickup, temperature probe, printer and adaptor types in the quotation request. Confirm supplied items individually.
Can it connect to existing inspection software?
The instrument has an RS-232C interface. Send the software and communication requirements for compatibility confirmation.

Compared with related models

Compare the gas channels, ranges, required sampling accessories and data interface before choosing an exhaust analyzer. This NHA-506EN is a five-gas configuration that includes NO as well as HC, CO, CO₂ and O₂. It measures gas concentrations; do not treat these readings as a smoke-opacity result. The optional printer and power inverter should be compared as part of the quoted package. Approval for a particular statutory inspection programme requires separate documentation and is not established by this listing.
